We are going to restore this little house in the village of Lagar de Junho, at the foot of Monsanto.
In our time.
Because the time of houses is also the time of people.
ROOMS AND CAPACITY
It will be a house for 5 people.
Upper floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, for 3 people.
Ground floor: 1 sofa bed for 2 people.
LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN
On the lower floor, we combined the living and dining areas into an open space that invites the outdoors in. A cooler place in summer, but in winter it will be heated with a wood-burning stove.
FIREPLACE ROOM
Located on the upper floor. It was formerly a kitchen and separated from the old entrance hall. Today it is a single space. We opened the walls and increased the height with its double ceiling.
ATTIC
It does not have the conventional height measurements to be an additional bedroom but will serve as a decorative mezzanine for the living room, opening the doors of our house.
BATHROOM
One bathroom on the ground floor.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Panoramic views, granite boulders, dining area in the shade of the cork oak, olive trees, centuries-old holm oak, in a romantic, rural setting.
